I have a Multiplex Cockpit SX for sale at $188. Its a 7chn TX with the 40Mhz and 41Mhz frequency module for you to choose whichever frequency you want. It also comes with the frequency scanner which prevents your transmitter from transmitting when a same frequency is already around. This is sure way to prevent your tx from clashing with others.

Its mode 2, but can be changed to mode 1 without even opening the case, can be changed by turning the few screws behind.
