    anyone has one to sell?

    #2
U know the shop directly opposite the hardware shop where u buy the TX case? They sell lotsa test instruments....there's one which is laser detection one, not the typical optical sensor type....very good....but freaking expensive....

Hur? Me again? But seriously, I may be considering this option cos u can tach it inflight. It seems a lot easier and safer tracking the rpm... wondering how those nitro flyer tag the rpm ...... I already a bit "Bei Zai" tagging the Trex

          Cheers

u need two persons to be safe..
one holds the trex over the head with the tach..
the other stands one side to throttle!!

That's how i tached mine! heh..
The "viewfinder" tach seems reliable but is there and even better
option? Like wat dixon suggested, an laser tacho?
I mean since u're gonna pay like $150 for the skytech one..
might as well up abit and get a laser one which gives instant reading?

I think we can pool up a "Tacho" fund and then can get a few units
to pass around and use between funflys!
Anyway, it's not everyday that u have to tach ur headspeed right?
              Or is it?

Mine is kinda like an industrial one...and it doesn't matter if it's 2 bladed, 3 bladed. You need to be sticking a retro reflective sticker on one blade to tach it properly.

In fact, i find it not very useful in bright sunlight....better than the optical ones, but still not very effective. Will post a pix when I'm free, but I think it's not really necessary to tach your blades so often lor...

I mean it's good to know your rpm, but it's like u'll only use it once in a while.

Well, i do have use for it other than for RC hobby, so it's quite justifiable for me to get it...otherwise i dun think I'll ever get it at all....$170 can buy me a GY240!
