HI guys, I wanna buy parts to modify my RTR tugboat.. but seriously, i dunno what to buy to modify.. some kind soul out there, pls sell me yr unwanted parts so i can reuse them on my tug boat... thank again.. i am keen to change the current receiver to a gd one... so i can controller a few boat using only 1 controller...

This is what i see from the modification link in the other thread.
You need 1 ESC(Tamiya TEU-101BK or any other car esc wd do, if u can spare the cash, get a marine water-proof ESC), 1 standard servo(Futaba 3003-$18.40 from SHS or any other standard servo will do), one lead acid battery from sim lim tower and one receiver which i believe you have. -
thanks a million for replying br... .. hmm i will go do some research n ESC (anyone wanna sell me Used one) servo... (where is SHS ? stand for ?) As for battery6 , what type will u recommend, meaning how many AMp, volt ? Cap ? i saw some like 1800mAH 9.6v. how do we knw how many AMP to buy and how many Volt to get too ? is it , the higher the mAH the better run time ? then for Volt ? For receiver, the one that comes with a very6 cheapo.. thinking to change to a better one.... say futaba..... how do we increase the range ? say more then 150 to 200 m .... is it due to the receiver ?Originally posted by Artyspec
