        Dishonest seller.. do'nt trust this guy.
        i bought his heli i think 2weeks ago.
        he said his heli is in flyable condition.
        He said cannot test the heli for me as he did'nt have
        Nitro fuel anymore.
        to make the story short, i trusted him as im new to nitro
        heli and he promise i cann contact him anytime if i
        encounter problem..
        the next day i msge him coz engine is not running even i
        tried a couple if times and follow/refer to some video tips on youtube
        How to start the engine.
        he promise to come to my place but never turned up until NOW.
        Also never answer me back thru whtsapp and phone call. So sad..his number xxx21926

          Bro, dun jump first. Check yr glow plug, glow ignitor n even starter. If cannot, maybe engine issues. Do a search but just be prepared to get yr hands dirty. Heli-buddies are at hoya tampines on Sat n sun morning 7am -9am. Siltronic also got very experienced flyers on sun afternoon. Otherwise ask for help in HF, RR or DH. take it easy, things aren't that bad.

              Cielo, I can comprehend yr feeling abt wanting to rip the skies apart. I hv the same feeling everyday! Anyway, let's move forward and just assume that u r alone in this. Task at hand would be to secure engine parts. Rotor is your only hope locally. Painful as it may sound, think yr first mission will be to read up on bearings replacement. It is up to u whether it is worth yr time in this bird.

                If carburetor is faulty, then perhaps it's better to swap out with a new one...but be forewarned it can be costly. Better yet, get new engine n muffler. Anyway,that's one of the reasons why nitro birds losing to electric. The servicing n maintenance will literally drive u nuts but once it's set up, the smoke n sound is simply bliss!

                    Perhaps i'll do a short write-up on my extremely shallow knowledge in nitro birds. Bro Cielo, since you didn't manage to maiden your "new" purchase, my .02c worth will touch purely on engine but I have to state upright to have zero knowledge on TT engines. Never had the chance to be exposed to fine engines built by TT.

                    1) Anyhow, try to dry-crank the engine with the starter. If it can crank, lovely! If it's stuck, time to bring out the heating gun/cooking stove and disassemble the engine cos the "internals" are prob gummed up due to prolonged storage.

                    2) Fuel: If the previous owner used castor oil mixed with fuel during his ownership, then it's definitely gummed-up situation. Some HF & RR brudders often mix castor oil with nitro cos it effectively prevents engine from lean which may damage the engine. This may also be a factor why some of us actually put after-run oil after a weekend's flight but I don't use it cos methinks nitro-magic provides sufficient protection for the rear bearings. Solution for stuck engine: WD40....not that I encourage it but it's really useful. Remove the muffler & carb from engine and spray away then let it sit abt 15mins. See the magic thereafter;

                    3) Glow-plug: Connect the glow-plug to the ignitor and check if it glows. If it does, one problem less, otherwise buy a new one. OS no.8 or Enya no.3 are good...at least to me & Prof Koh;

                    4) Starter: I hold the record of destroying 4 Made in China starters during my first month of getting into nitro birds. Until a HF friend advised me to buy a Sullivan starter...NEVER hv to buy another EVER;

                    5) Engine: There are so many underlying issues in this aspect that can make one lose sleep for many nites without resolving the issue. If the engine can crank, check for the idle screw on the carb. Then remove the main and mid needles and blow alcohol through via fuel lines. Thereafter, assemble & screw needles back to factory defaults. Check online for TT default needles settings. In the fuel inlet, attach a clean fuel line and blow alcohol through it.

                    Ok, I have to drive soon so that's all i hv at the moment. Will update again....

                              Think the seller should be gentleman abit to help this new buyer solve the issue. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding.
