The response to this thread has been overwhelming. I like to thank all brothers who have contributed their views, technical expertise, and advice, including the silent majority.
To the brother who asked for more detail of the case, my original post is already in detail. It is as close as what has actually transpired. What is required is for the other party to come out and give his perspective of the incident.
To the brother who said he has never been able to get up to 4.2v for all his lipos, and he has many years of experience with them, I'm truly surprised! All my lipos reach 4.2v when fully charged, and some even 4.22v. The charger I use is a Bantam e-STATION BC6DX. In fact, looking at pg 9 of the Operating Instructions for this charger, under the heading Litium battery(Lilo/Lipo/Life)program, it is clearly pointed out that a lipo's final charged voltage is 4.2v. Off course a modeller can always choose to charge to a lower voltage such as 4.1v, get a lower capacity but enjoy a longer life for his pack, as one brother rightly pointed out. You pay your money, you make your choice.
Technical issues aside, what maked me decide to write to this Forum is because Moh has gone overboard: A valid problem brought up politely by a customer is treated rudely, even to the extend of banning me from his Shop (see my original post). Does the last point matter to me? Sure it does, for I've lost a good source of RC supplies. Does the loss of a customer matter to JH? Not at all, JH will continue to thrive, with or without my patronage. But I've my dignity, and I choose to keep it.
To those brothers who don't trust my words, there are numerous CCTV installed at the JH premises. Request a viewing and see if Mr Moh allows.
