Just a clarifications for those enquired.
This new case is good for "Gimbal" type transmitters, those with "Pistol Grip" transmitters such as 3PK need not change due to Antenna position.

Does current module come with the new type casing? Interested in purchasing the set soon.

Yes! they are now produced with new casing now. That's why existing FRSKY users (with the original casing) will not be left out by doing a recall for the case change if they like.

For those using "Pistol Type" transmitters like 3PK, you may still request for the original casing at your own choice.

No it is not affected.
It's only a matter of the antenna re-positioning which JR remains the same unaffected.
