Thank you for those who expressed their interests about Pitts.
As mentioned in previous thread, we present the detailed assembly of the Pitts without electronics done yet...

Ailerons, elevator and rudder hinge CA. We used the thin CA for easy seeping through the slots already pre-cut for fitting...

a shallow groove needs to be sliced about 1mm deep to fit the tail wire reinforced by fibre tape (own preference)...

A pleasant surprise for those who do not expect much at the price of this kit. It actually comes with raw earth magnet for hatch fastening for easy access to lipo compartment. 4th picture on right shows the LIPO compartment - Very spacious (need velcro fasterner to strap your Lipos)

Assembly of the landing gear. The landing gear is made of light-weight aluminium with light-weight wheels. We used a silicon tube about 5mm to serve as additional spacer for the wheel when fitted with wheel pants to avoid contact...

Alignment and fitting of the horizontal stabilizer. Thin coat of epoxy is used...

The kit comes with a fibre glass cowl...

You can have a choice of either stick-mount motor setup or out-runner motor setup with a cage. Both options are provided for in the kit... Please note for Motor Cage Mount there is a slight right thrust already built in - a considerate move by the manufacturer...

Just a note beside short breaks in between, this ARF is assembled in 2 short hours... The manual is pictorial and easy to comprehend...
Will be fitting a brushless to maiden it soon...

Can show how you mount the servos?

they have leading strings pre-attached in the wings already.
However the servo hole opening may be a little small for some servos. You need to trim them open with a No.11...

If you have problem with the servo installations, we can offer to assist in our shop... just bring your model down and we see what we can come out with...

I bought it from a guy who said the pitts was bought from Skyhobbies. It is a non assembled one or rather less than half assembled. The seller said he was too busy to assemble it.

What is a leading string and where should I mount the servos. According to the manual, it says I need to cut a hole and I saw two pieces of square balsa woods with a slot for the servo horn for mounting the servo. But where should I mount these square woods on the lower wing?
And how about the rudder and elevator servos?
