but first off, i think we have to thank loyn for his unwavering effort in coaching the beginners ...he was coaching the whole day, wonder if he flew at all

below is a shot of kelvin's cub after a death spiral

turns out that the rudder servo gave way and caused the rudder to be locked in position, resulting in a loss of control...now tat this plane has been decommissioned, we can look forward to kelvin's 'miss america'

Hey nice pics there Spidey! Great turn out today.... Had an eye opener on the 3d display by our experienced husband and wife team! (Sorry din catch you guys name). Had 2 new wing drangons for madien too! Both flew great under the control of our Ace pilot Kelvin! Trainer Master Loyn was a busy man today! Giving flying lesson to our new flyers... I am sure the students had an enjoyable time jus as our master Loyn enjoyed himself! Think today casualties was Kelvin's Cub and Alvin glider.... Both due to technical issues! Think of the brighter side guys... New planes next Another great weekend at JW

Looks like another good enjoyable day for flying this morning but I just had to be elsewhere ...... at the airport ( why did the folks always choose to fly home on weekend mornings ? ) Missed the chance to meet more new flying friends at DHJW too. Thanks to Spidey's nice pics, get an idea who they are. .

So sorry to hear the decommissioning of Kelvin's cub. So there would be new planes on the field soon ?

And Master Loyn ! keep up the good work !

Hope to see you guys next weekend then -- hopefully I need not go to the airport again.

this is the plane i was talking about...the mini biplane...dont know wat its called, bought it at taka for $40...charger is built into the transmitter, so its rather convenient. Charging takes about 10-15min, flight time about 5-8min. nothing serious, but pure fun. look how it fought with the wind

yeah had a great time at JW this morning. Weather was cool so could stay till quite late. Yah, the husband and wife were imppressive! My classmate was SCARY . He fly like . Even after he crashed his plane into a splash of styrofoam he still managed to get it flying an hour later!

Nice pics. Whoes funny park is that? Look in a battled conditioned Crash mine last week. This plane really tough. I can't remember how much trashing it got but most of the time only suffer a broken prop or gear box. Even a broken fuselage mend back also no problem.

Really miss it now its gone.... RIP....

Today is good day for flying with low wind and no sun....not too wet too Manage to do some training with both mak's EZstar and my plastic cub....Thanks mak so the training can go on as wind start to pickup ..... the cub is difficult to fly in windy condition

Very impress by our new friends (infact couples), a supportive wife and couple who share the same hobby. ....it is a strong image to see a experience couple in action , both fly so well with their homemade 3D plane ..... I am think how offen you have that to happen... ....think about that at the age of 50++ you are flying with you wife at the field.....I mean she not just sit and wait but into the heat of action .....that is one lovely pic in life at least for me Too bad didnt take any pic of our new experience couple team in action .....

Good to know everybody enjoy the FF section....both new and old member...even we do encounter some misshap with Kelvin and Alvin' s plane. Then again this is part of the game....in fact lost control of my P-51 upon landing....some wire issue at the ESC ..... luck me....

Scary is an under statment.....as he fly when his plane is in such bad shape that he has hard time put it in control.....several close call for today ..... I am not impress by how fast he can put his plane back in action as he should consider the safety of other in the field. If the plane is not in good shape he should get it fix and learn to fly properly.....not just by chance ....BTW he is flying all over the field. I did approach him to offer my assistant but with confidence he have I leave it up to him...

I would advise him to get his plane fix properly and learn to fly properly and follow some basic safety regulation if he want to join us at the field....of cause I cant stop him if he feel that is the way to go.... Just my 2 cents
