    85 km/h hydroplane @ Punggol Pond

Here's something we don't see at Punggol everyday

Eric's 26cc red hydroplane appropriately named "INSANE 89". He clocked it running at 53mph (around 85 km/h) using an on-board GPS unit His only words after the run was... "shiok" ... and we all agreed!

Let's just say... when the hydros in the water, the rest of us lesser mortals vacate

Ez, you are a top tuner... will sure call on you if I ever go down the gas route

If in doubt - add more horsepower!

        Hi guys

The links should work... bear in mind that the first file is 16MB and the second is 6MB. Try copying the file onto your machine before running. The 16MB file takes around 1 min to load...

            Hydro Plane - ERICA89

            Hi All,
Nice Video and RC Machines, KEEP THE PONGGUL POND BUSY every weekend, otherwise it is Very Dull.
Great Show of Machines and Supporting RC Enthusiasts and Well Wishers.
It sure Attracts More Interest for Sleepy Ponggul.
Safely, Ponggul wakes up on SUNDAY after peaceful and serene Sail on SATURDAY.
Keep it up GUYS & GALS. Don't need to wait for another National Day.

Well said Vifo Couldn't agree more

It could be even better if RC shops in Singapore stocked more rc boats and parts Many rc boaters have to order their stuff from overseas suppliers... now that sounds like a business plan for someone
