    Boating action @ Punggol

Here's a snippet of the action at Punggol yesterday afternoon...

Mick, Michael, Lawrence... many many thanks for doing the numerous rescues of my coughing and spluttering Cat. Now that she's broken in and running well... you guys can finally relax and enjoy your boats

Cat video can be found at:

Photos of some fine models below.
Ezzy's Bullet; Zan's NVee (riding on nothing but her prop!); Michael's winged vee; and Lawrence's r/c swan and scale tug boat.

If in doubt - add more horsepower!

Hiya Stuka. Yes, I think the setting was still a little on the rich side, but don't think she has much room left anyway on the prop she's running. May have too much pitch. Will look for something around 40mm x 1.8'ish. The prather she's running is 41mm x 2.5.

She struck a submerged log at full speed on Sunday... bent the outdrive unit upwards and knocked a drive pin off-centre. Repairs all done now. Ready for another run on National Day The Kyosho solid drive shaft bearings sure wear fast... getting some freeplay at the ends already
