DIY Shoulder Harness Transmitter Tray with Hand Rest

Well can't afford the Dubro TX Tray so i diy one. This is my 2nd one actually. The first one i did was without the hand rest and was a very simple one. This 2nd project is with the hand rest and some materials from daiso for cosmetics purpose. I'm more of a finger-thumb pinch mode so it really helps to have the hand rest by the side.Click image for larger version

      Great idea

Nice... It's a great idea to use a book-end as the tray body.

Saves the trouble and work of having to saw, smooth and bend a sheet metal piece to get that shape.

Where did you get the aluminium flat strips? And what's the thickness suitable?

I bought the aluminium at my local hardware shop. I think most hardware shops have them. I usually ask for flat aluminium rod. The thickness is 3mm and its easily bendable with a little strength.
