    "G"-starter?

    Another possible project....

There are quite a few converts... the threads says it will be more powerful that a 350 motor with fresh battery pack. Other planes that they have converted included zero and ME109.

looks interesting. i was reading an article in a jap mag about converting a speed 300 to a small control line nitro engine. might have lots of power, but currently i don't know of any engine this small which has a throttle. it'll only go full speed.

Cox 0.049, Cox 0.051, Norvel 0.061, AP 0.061 etc etc - has throttle.

So far those I read are fitted with 0.061, 0.07 engines and 2oz tank. They mentioned 0.07 engine will be too powerful.

That's absolutely brill. I too have an Estarter I've been wanting to convert. Where can I find Norvel,Cox or other suitable engines in Singapore? I'm writing from KL,Malaysia.

        Thanks.

Won't the exhaust melt the foam? You need to have very careful hand to do this, try put a drop on nitro on foam, you likely to have a cavitive so big that is good enough to scarp the plane.
