    MY less appealing Piper Tomahawk

Honestly, I'm quite screw-up with this plane. Did not read the instruction carefully and end-up assemble an less appealing Piper Tomahawk. I'm not sure how others managed to assemble nicely with the pushrod link with elevator but I have bad experience with it. Once, my 60 size Enforcer crashed because of the pushrod link issues. Finally, willingly to throw the bad experience and try to build with new perspective but still end-up a lot "play" with the elevator. Under stress and to play safe, I've installed a mirco servo at the vertical stabilizer.

I've also realise that this plane was designed for 4 stroke engine. Why ? I've try to install my OS 25FX away from the firewall, knowing that the tail would be heavy. However,, , still have to add about 200g of weight to the front. Now, this plane is 2 kg heavy.

at least i think this method for the elevator is better than the cable thing...after a new cover for the tail it looks perfect... better than new ..overall still good
          just learning to fly

Fullmoon, i shoved the flight battery all the way up to the front, just next to the fuel tank, and i needed only 60grammes of nose weight on the Tomahawk, try doing this first, or else you are ending up with a very heavy plane to fly, as this is a T-tail, the prop thrust do not reach the elevator surfaces, only after ROG to a certain speed then you get elevator authority, so do be careful on this.

                Fullmoon,

Jephry's Tomahawk flew with the economically-priced TT GP42 2-stroke engine, and it had a lot of reserve power
