Quad-Copter SG at SCDF on 29th August 2010

During my visit to SCDF, I had the opportunity to watch the test flight of the Quad-Copter SG. This was the first occasion I had seen it. It flew beautifully in the capable hands of its test pilot.

Here are the photos of the aircraft flying at different heights. With the lights on, this aircraft is a beauty at night. The part of the aircraft that enhances its beauty is the dome at the centre of the aircraft.

Thanks Sonyalpha for your great photography skill which makes our prototype unit looked fantastic in actions. This prototype unit was actually very battered and abused...but you make it look so nice !

You should see the actual production units, 2 sets has been delivered, more to come....It is 20% bigger and so much neater and nicer.

Daniel should be able to show it to you very soon...

Wow! Beautiful pictures! One of the nicest looking quad heli that i have seen ...how much does one cost ? How is the flying characteristics like?

haha... very great and fun question...

What can you do??? endless... just a few for your fun ref:
- Flying around.... de-stress for some... add stress for some
- potential cheap way to learn heli flying - easy to setup and cheaper on parts
- Carry some load to go around...
- Fun flip if you dare to...
- add some more fun design cover, canopy...wrapper etc... to make it looks cool and design of your own...
- fly from almpst anywhere... only if you master the control
- add more LEDs and it bling bling... night flying
- it is the trend now...
- Steady hover so you can do nice AP!!

Well.. it is just a name...

What I want and hope to see is a fleet of Quad....Tri... Hex...Now all my other plane project (UAV etc) seems onhold or move like snail!!

Lets start with Quad as to me that is stable enough and also Wild enough if you dare...
