'Swift' at Tuas South on 21st August 2010

Flier Francis Toh bought the Swift from Jet Hobby this morning and brought it to the site this afternoon. With a wingspan of 610mm and a fuselage length of 485 mm and running on a 450mAh 7.4V 2S battery, this small aircraft moves fast in the air. At a price of S$89.00, it comes with a motor, ESC and servos. He is going to bring it to BBAFC tomorrow to gauge its performance with the Multiplex Merlin of another flier.

      Mini-swift

Nice photos of the Swift in the air! I bought the Swift online and added some photo and info to the thread on this model here: http://www.daddyhobby.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54268

I can tell you for sure why the Swift is different from a Multiplex Merlin... got mine stuck on top of a tree just this morning... Man! am I lucky it was not a Merlin Now waiting for the winds to blow in my favour!!
