Hot Wire Cutter Problem

hi Skyfool bro, need your help.

I tried to cut square cuts with a guillotine and hot wire bow but the cuts are wavy. The edge has curve marks such that the middle is higher and the ends are lower. i.e. The ends get cut first, then the middle is last to be cut finish. Any tips? Increase tension and it will break the wire liao. Increase amps? Thinner wire?

I using a 12v 5 A power supply with dimmer.
Fishing wire 20 lbs rating for the hot wire.
