    My glassed GWS ME262

Finally I'm done with my first fiberglassed plane, the GWS ME262
My first time and proud of it
Powered by 2 Hyperion 4200kv motors.
Hoping that everything will still be the same after maiden flight.

Wah! Bro very very nice well done!

I don't have the nerves to fly fibreglass or wood or anything not made of foam in fact. hehehe

Thanks! This is my 2nd 262 actually, as the 1st one crashed due to the magnet of the cheap inrunner motors I used split in half during mid-flight and the rx got out of control..
Anyway, I upgraded the motors on this 2nd, 'nicer finished' foam plane(as compared to my other assemble-and-fly-and-crash planes )
..hope everything will be ok coz its so hard to land with all fingers shaking you know..

        Dude,
Are the spare parts available locally? Cos from my knowledge, the new series of aircrafts from GWS, nobody carrying their parts.
I fly the GWS Texan and the new P-40

I bought the NPS version of this kit at Ro*or. I think no available spare parts.
I ordered a spare cowling from GWS as I'm already a Lonely/Early Bird member (thanks!)
But how come I ran out of A-4?? They said next delivery will be late Nov or Dec!
I ordered the J10 but is also delayed.
          F-15, they have'nt replied yet.
Have you flown your A4? how was it?

My 1st GWS262 was very easy to fly, a very stable flyer since it has a very rigid construction. The only problem I had was, like I said, the cheap motors used and of course shorter flight time. But,.. you should try one

Thanks for sharing. Will get one to try once I find some time.

Looks like I am constantly being clobbered by work this period.

                  Cheers

Nice looking plane! BTW does it already come with the paint scheme or you did it yourself?

hi, whats the amp draw for both motors? It should be in the area of total 30 amps right?

What's your powerplant set up?, i.e. motor and esc. I am in the midst of getting mine up as well.

                        Thanks,

Here's my 2nd glassed GWS ME262 on my experimental color combi camou.
I just finished it last night. I'm planning to have the maiden flight together or after all my other 3 GWS EDF planes (A4, J10 and F15) are done.

I did the painting job, same as with this 2nd one. I bought the unpainted NPS version.

                          Sunstorm:
The amp draw was in the range of 30-33 amps on my analog ammeter.

                          ehawk:
I'm using the Hyperion HP-Y22S-4200 motors controlled by GWS 25A ESCs.
If your finished with your 262, can we have the maiden flights together?

Will be completed after CNY. Will line all up for photo session and flight formation if possible!

Yeah, good idea on the photo session, but I'm not sure for the flight formation because based on experience, I always get nervous and have a 50% chance of crashing my plane during maiden flight.
