PGFW foreign detachment to Woodlands Fields :)

A few bros answered the call for a TigerMoth Meet in Woodlands. Getting ready to make the journey up north.

I will be bringing 2 planes for this one, a TM400(doh) and a SkyCat EP.

    The SkyCat

The SkyCat started as a high speed fighter jet... but alas after seein limited air superiority sorties, it is now relegated to a 2nd line Light Attack aircraft status (obvious change in the forward fuselage/nose area)

That doesn't mean that it has loss much SPEED...

              Then...

After some simple circuits, its time for some serious damage

Fix up the ribbons/streamers and get airborne.

A simple TM400 (brush?) doing some lazy pattern.

                Aggressor

Unaware, an Aggressor takes to the air silently (brushless outrunner)...

                    TM Fightback

With a skilled pilot behind the stick the TM400 managed to evade the diving attack and somehow able to maneuver into a defiant attack for some bite back action

                      ...

After some diving, rolling, looping, jinking, both pilot are unable to gain any upper hand...

...A draw.. both planes landed without damage..

                      Disappointing

                        The high speed display

Alamak to fast for my aging camera to catch...

BTW 2 of the candidates below Align F-16 400.. Tough birds to launch as they need quite a bit of throwing effort to get to flying speed..

Lauch success rate: about 1 in 2..
Thanks goodness the plane itself is quite tough.
