                            Hi Pacman,

Thanks for organising the funfly...Really have a enjoyable morning today.
As discussed, maybe it's time to set some house rules in Punggol Flying Field...

                            To start with:-

                            1) I think we have to define the flying area, both for flying training and regular flyers...As a beginner, I think he/she will feel intimidated if he/she is flying with the big boys. So may I suggest the flying field left of the road be the regular field and the one on the right to be training field.
For testing of planes and engine, I suggest to be away from the crowd. (Say about 10m ahead of the apron area). I had witness 2 cases within 2 weeks where the plane either chew other plane parking in the apron or injuried someone when testing of plane went uncontrolled.
Also to suggest the apron area as "Prop Safe" area. That is any plane in the apron should have their batteries disconnected to prevent accidents from happening.

                            2) I will contribute one roll of trash bag as a start, we will use one trash bag per session for all the trash that we created during the session. Objective is to keep our flying field clean. Guess if we don't keep the place clean, nobody will...For epoxy, I suggest we a card or a wooden plank, so that we don't mix the epoxy on surfaces we can find there...

                            3) Lastly, if we can get someone to set up one "mama" shop there will be great. Provide basic "makan" and drinks. Guess a lot of us skip breakfast when we rush to the field...

Commenst pls guys. Let's us work towards a safer better flying environment...

                            Cheers

                            Happy Flying.
Just because we grow up, doesn't mean we stop playing...in fact, the games just get better and the toys just get bigger...

                              Good suggestions,freeman!

We really need to practice safety and care when fly and testing plane.

We got ground problem on 1st May during ground check where another plane lost control on ground check.

We got planes that fly near the road and nearly hit passerby.

We got kids now coming for the excitement.

So, I agree that for beginners or testing planes, we need to isolate to prevent any casualty.

                                Hi guys,

Bear with this, The other thing I wanted to comment is flying overhead the crowd. I believe all of our flyers have superior skill that can fly the plane to the edge, but we are not very sure that when the servo or other stuff will fail. By flying low, fast and close to the crowd really put eveyone's head, cars and other property at risk... So for all flyers, flyer should be between the plane and the crowd. How about it?

                                Cheers

                                Hapyy Flying.
