        Cant resist to post some pictures of my workshop guardians....
        1/48 scale tomcats...havent built any statics for a very long time, this thread has sort of sparked and relight some interest.
        Still have 2 fridge box full of nib static planes...still wondering what to do with them...

            Just Checked, I had one of those before but already built and given away years ago, still have the box.

            Have a lot of phamtom and f-14 kits, 1/48 and 1/32 mostly.
            I should really cataloque them some day....someday...

              Any chance u might have an S-3 Viking in ur stash? I m trying to build 1 of every Aircraft on a carrier.

                Actually, I have 2, both are half built, I am a big fan of Vikings, by the way there is a new 48th scale Prowler out, saw it in a hobby shop over sea. Would have sold my kidney to have that kit a few years back. Now no feeling already...sad

                  U got me Breaking a laugh. Sold ur kidneys?! I would ve sold my liver for f-16 spine and CFT back during the days of Isracast only. Now f-16 with spine and CFT can be found all over the shop. The prowlers can be found online fairly priced and ship from Hong kong. But I can t accommodate any 1/48 scale due space. Only 1/72. Those Viking u have are they in 1/72?

                    most of us, myself included started with plastic models before moving to RC. who knows u might pickup RC someday n i may go bk to plastic models..

                      The ones I have are AMT 1/48th, I have stopped building 72nd scale for a while. Now most of my stock pile are 48th and 32nd scale.

                      Thanks for the prowler info, I will give it a missed. too many kit already, actually I am thinkking of a car boot sale to rid some of the kits.

                      I also have a pair of academy 32nd f-18D, brand new in box interested? it is an excellent kit.

                          Woah! This thread has grown to 2 pages since I last login. Seems like I did an 'Inception' on you guys

                          The new prowler you mentioned is from a company called Kinetic. The plus point is you have the option to build it with wing folded. I have a Hasegawa 72 scale version so I held back from buying.

                          I have a 1/48 Mirage 2000 from the same company in my stash and it looks great!

                          I am currently doing F104G Starfighter "Marineflieger" and just completed a MQ-9 Predator. Will post some pictures here soon. Akang Datang

                          Lastly, just want to say it is a great time to be a plastic modeler now

                            Agreed! It's a great time to be doing static now! A compressor with tank @ $160 and Tamiya 1/72 kits less than $10! So many decals and resin upgrades to choose from.
                            My last project was an A-4, current project is 1/48 USN fire truck. I hope to start on a 1/72 harrier or an IAF F-15 "Baz"

                              The public can view the submitted models

                                just to share....yes....b/f RC, I was building some static planes...at a very slow pace then...now no longer...

                                my last built was this Israeli Skyhawk A-4N...1/48 Hasegawa...

                                a half-way built Beaufighter is still on the shelf..
