    Sanwa RD8000 Tx and Rx

    Please help.
    I have a RD8000 Tx and a 92778 Dual conversion 8 chl sanwa Rx, operating at 72mhz(sanwa xrtal 72.410mHz).

Now I have another align 6 chl Rx 72mhz(xrtal from align too 72.410mhz) and I want to use it with the RD8000 Tx. But it could not work. Why?

Does the xrtal have to be the same brand, meaning sanwa type?

Second, the sanwa rx has the eight channel as Aux and battery, will it be ok if it is supply with a 9volt battery? This rx is used in the Trex 450xl with a 11.1volt li-ion battery. This 11.1v battery is connected to the ESC and the z-connector is connected to the Rx. Can I supply another 9volt battery to the RX then?

Try changing your transmitter to the other frequency shift.

      Hi headspeed

When I bought my Hitec rx from Rotor, I was told that I can only use a single conversion rx bcos Sanwa will not work on dual. Just to share!

      Cheers

Thank guys. But this RD8000 is working on a dual rx(original from Sanwa). Only that I want to use the tx with another rx(align brand single conversion). I have followed the manual of the tx to switch the tx to accept other brand of rx. but still it doesnot work.
I think the main reason is that all the crystals have to sanwa.

Is your tx PCM or PPM, if PCM can u set it to PPM? If can, set to ppm and try.
