must register radio unit with IDA?

understand that it might be necessary to register the radio unit with IDA. Any idea how to go about doing it? Can be done via internet?

suppose to lah, but a lot of people never register one...including me, me play r/c for over ten years liao, never register before, last time police come see also never ask me...as far as I know almost everyone also never register...

Law by law must register lar, BUT with all the trouble and all the specs involved, very few flyer do it anymore.

if you don't get into any trouble and keep away from airstrips, they normally don't bother.
Anyway, their "transmitter" at the control tower can easily overpower ours, even if you are using a $5K radio.
