does anyone know the optic6 which our LHS r sellin are the newer batch or older ones...coz me wana get one but scared the older batch got lotsa bugs leh...anyone bought o6 recently, care to enlighten? Thx Thx

Optic 6 firmware VER 11
Ver 11 fixed all the bugs.
Not sure if they have new one.
You can check:
Press both Edit buttons and switch on power.
Press one of the Edit button until you see "VER 11"

Just check my friend set about 3 weeks old, No VER too.

i don't know but i'm wondering whether if they would
put any label/stickers inside to indicate the ver type...
just a wild guess

I checked mine too. its also labelled "V1.2" on the chip
could be the one u are referring to
if thats really the case then "Ver 11" means "version 1.1"?
then the one rotor selling would be an even newer version !
btw this is the chip i checked...
its mounted on a chip carrier so i believe its Optic 6's main processor
cos microprocessors are usually mounted on chip carrier to make it easier to
remove it to reprogramme, update firmware or simply change a new one...
