Multiplex Promax 400 motor

Hi.. what is the typical lifespan of the Promax 400 motor?

The manual shows up to 8.4V... anyone tried running it on 3S?
I ran it on 3S this morning... and didn't dare power it up to more than 0.5 throttle.

Also.. this 400 motor seem so much bigger than the GWS 400...

No prob running on 11.1V. Was using it in 1 of my plane. With 8.4V it is under powered. I've check with multiplex on this sometime ago.
