    Hitec Aurora 9 keep beeping

    Dear bros out there,

I am using a Hitec Aurora 9 Tx. Battery is lipo, fully charged. However, after 10 sec, the tx will start beeping. I beleive it is the internal timer. Any one experience this?? How do i solve this??

    Many thanks

I am using an Aurora 9. Can you describe the beeping sound? Other than that, is your radio functioning properly?

Check your timer and check your receiver pack battery. And check your switch and gimble are in default condition.

what is the visual display? is it u recently change from default NiMH battery to LiPoly? If so, u forgot to set the TX to indicate u are using LiPoly battery and the "low voltage" value is wrong.

My battery is lipo, battery level at 8V currently, the beeping comes once after 1 min, subsequently after 10 sec once.

did u enable low voltage alarm?
I suspect u enable low voltage alarm and u mistook the alarm as other error instead.

If u are not enable low voltage alarm, turn it of. If u use, then double check the voltage range.

My the radio is aurora 9.. but I dun experience the beeps.? :p
For curious I searched the net..

If you suspect the timer..then you need to locatde them all..

              Not sure it helps..

              Q. I hear an occasional beeping when I’m flying, what is this?

              A. If the beeping is a series of three beeps then this is the low battery warning coming from the module. Other beeps can be the timer which beeps every one minute and then once ever second at the 20 second to go mark and then twice every second for the last 10 seconds. The two sliders also have a beep at the center so if you bump them from time to time you may here a random beep.

              Q. How many timers does the Aurora have?

              A. There are a total of three timers. Two can be assigned to count either up or down and assigned to be activated via a switch or the throttle stick. The third timer is an overall timer to show how long the radio has been powered up. Reset this after charging the batteries so you can track the runtime of the radio and estimate how long until you will need to recharge.
