    Freeware for PC oscilloscope

Anyone tested with success? I down load one but don't seem to work. Do I need specific sound card?

If u referring to the one that make used of sound card as the i/p, yup, u need sound card.

Using sound card method, the disadvantage is that, it can only measure low voltage..maybe like up to 5V. U cannot use it to measure like 100V.

Yeah. This is the one, have you tested?

I dont expected to measure 100v, as long as 5-10v for tx signal.

I tried that software (or maybe similar to it) quite sometime back..like a few years back.
Well, it does able to "plot" the waveform, but there is another limitation.

You cannot measure "D.C." signal. In other word, if u connect the i/p to lets say a D.C. source like 5V battery for example, it shows u flat 0v line instead. This is not because of the software..but more on the sound card itself. The reason is that, most (if not all) sound card i/p has a capacitor between the i/p and the pre-amp. Because of the capacitor, the "D.C." signal cannot passed through it...thus showing 0V flat line.
