I emailed tech support for my BECs and got this response. Its more advanced than my limited electrical skills can interpret. Was wondering if someone can explain this to me
THanks

BLUR HERE
What I meant with the balancer tap is that you can pick off 2 cells and run one regulator from that.
BLUR HERE TOO
You would also need to make sure that whatever ESC you are using is completely isolating the ground lead from the 12S combo from the ground lead that plugs into the receiver. In other words, both 6S batteries need to be “floating” with respect to the ground potential that the receiver sees when connected to the ESC.
THIS PART I UNDERSTAND - TAP 2S FROM A 6S PACK
If not, then the only safe way to tap your 12S battery combo is from the ground lead from the first 6S (the one that supplies the ground potential to the ESC) and then tap the balancer plug on that battery for 8.4V with respect to that ground lead.
HOW DO YOU TAP 2S FROM A 6S PACK?
THanks
