Good evening everyone!
I am planning to build a quite large robot about the size of a lawnmower as a long term project. But right now where can I get a brushed dc motor that is powerful enough to run the robot? It doesn't need to be fast. I just want it to be powerful to drive the large robot. And I want to keep it at 12V. And also what's the purpose of the encoder in some of the dc motor i saw in robots r us? How do I use it? Can I just not use it and just run the motor?
