Need help on my Pheonix Ice 100 esc

    Hi all,
Is it normal for the esc to beep every 20 seconds on flying mode? What i'm trying to say is that I'd this esc on my plane. When it's armed ( means Transmitter on and then plug battery into the esc ) it gives out the normal tone which means everything is normal. However, every 20 seconds, the esc beeps once. Is it normal? Can any brothers here help?
    Thanks and regards,
    Bemyself

That is normal. It is one of the feature (it is tracking or something like that). Imagine that u fly your aircraft... and crash in a tall grass field. U can't see it. So, listen to the "beep" sound and follow it.

U can turn it off if u do not like it.

      Beep Codes/Conditions
All Castle ESCs will sound a single beep every 20 seconds to
remind the user that the controller is connected to a battery
and drawing power. Leaving a controller connected to a
battery for extended periods will likely damage the battery.

Thanks Super-Hornet and rt9 for the kind help. Guess I'm the one to be blame for not reading thru the manual. Thanks once again.
