    Is this setup ok?

    hi im try this setup on my glider

    MOTOR
    RPM/V: 1100Kv
    Max Watt : 312W
    Max Current : 28A
    Weight : 78g
    Stator Dimensions : 28 x 12 mm

    ESC
    turnigy plush 40amp

    prop
    10*8 folding prop

    battery
    2200mah 11.1v lipo

    coz when i full throttle for 30 sec, the motor is very hot

    i mean the motor is very hot till it burns the plywood i use to reinforce the motor mount...

      What's the size of your glider?

      If it gets so hot then it is not right.

              Hi Bro,

              Your setup is not ok..

              To be able to use the same Prop Size on the same KV, your motor should be 35mm > 450watts, I suppose you are using a 28mm outrunner now, then you should prop down to 9 x 8 to save your motor from over heating.

                how about changing to 9 x 5 prop? izzit ok? how bout the esc?

                  9 x 5 prop runs cooler on the same motor but you get lesser thrust, 40 amp Hobbywing or Turnigy should be ok as the burst current is 55amp.

                          Hi guys,

                          Im looking for a replacement servo 9g.
                          Anyone out there with their old servo to spare.

                          I believe there is alot of old servo out there, wonder how to appeal for one.
