I'll like to share a thread i stumbled in runryder. The thread was started back in 2004 where people were talking about using 2.4Ghz for RC. Many people were skeptical and didn't believe in it. After 6 years, it has become the main stream.

There are similar arguments about nitro vs electric, flybar vs flybarless, etc. With advancements in technology and lower costs, once questionable innovations will become the norm
