Paring ESC to BL motor

Is is necessary to pait BL moter to the ESC with the same brand? Can I use an ESC for motor of other made? Assuming I can take cre of the current rating.

Can no problem.

As long current drawn by motor is not higher than ESC.

Yes. but make sure your ESC is for BL motor as well
