    Hi Please advise...

I got this new Futaba 2.4EX and it is using rechargerable futaba battery pack
    "9.6v NT-8F600B Ni-Cd battery"

    1) is there any way to convert the transmiter to us normal batteries instead of battery pack? Because the battery compartment have no pins for normal battery...

    2) Where can i buy additional battery packs... how much ??

    Pls advise

Bro, you need to add metal contacts for AA batteries into the batt compartment of your TX. If u check your TX, it has some plastic slots for u to slide in the contacts.

As for where to get the metal contacts... have u asked around? Maybe SHS as futaba dealer will have the answers.

If I'm not wrong there is a warning to not use dry cell batts for the 6ex 2.4. Something about energy density or something. Cannot remember.

            Cheers,
