    Matchmaker?

got this from the JR site.
don't quite understand the part on setting the neutral spot.
How is it related to the transmitter in setting the neutral position of the servo?

With JR’s MatchMaker, model setup is so easy, you’ll wonder how you ever got along without it!

Score another hit for JR. Housed in the same case as the ever-popular MatchBox, the MatchMaker is designed to be used in the shop to set up your planes, without ever having to turn on your transmitter.

It’s true that there are several devices similar to this on the market, but none are like the MatchMaker. Precise, small, lightweight and affordable, the MatchMaker is in a class of one.

    Sets neutral or cycle servos

With four servo outputs, you can operate multiple servos, and perform different functions. Ports 1 and 2 are for cycling servos. Those who like to “burn in” their electronics will find this handy. And the adjustment knob varies the speed. Slow speed is handy for checking for pot wear.

Ports 3 and 4 allow for positioning the servo for se tup. Here the adjustment knob will operate the servo throughout its travel range, and there’s a solid detent that marks the exact neutral spot. It’s very, very precise, so you know you can use this device and final setup will require very little, if any sub-trim adjustments.

    Self contained system

Do you have an old battery that works, but isn’t up to capacity? If so, a bit of double -sided tape will give you an integrated, portable device that’s ultra-handy. We use ours around the shop all the time – and everyone who’s tried this unit just loves it.

So go ahead. Leave your transmitter on charge. Or leave it in the car ready for your next flying session (hey, that’s one way to keep from forgetting it!) With the MatchMaker, you can keep working on installation of servos and then do your programming all at one time – when you’re good and ready.

The MatchMaker is stock number JRPA915 and sells for just $29.99.
