I am using it in my JR9X2. Been using it for close to 1 year now. Before that i was using XPS but decided to switch over to ASSAN because the receivers were much more cheaper. I haven't regretted using it as it has been problem-free for me.

You can find a ton of information abt it over in RCGroups. ASSAN themselve are pretty active in there!

Also, which receiver would I get for nitro helis and planes? the included mini ones are for electric only right?
