    Spectrum DX6i stick pot defective

Not sure if this has been posted before but, Owners of the Spectrum DX6i might be interested to read the following links

Seems a few batches of this radio have defective stick potentiometers which fail unexpectedly during flight.

I think mine also same ... but I check this morning... no issue with the monitor status.

Visit Spektrum site, there is a video show you how to do it if you are not sure. It has a bad unit as an example so you know how to determine what is good and bad for your set.

        Provider Name:
        Issue:

        Attention DX6i Owners

Product Recall: Spektrum DX6i transmitters with date codes 807E, 808E, 809E, 810E, 811E, 812E, and 901EAttention DX6i UsersOn January 30, 2009, Horizon Hobby, Inc. issued a service bulletin for Spektrum DX6i transmitters due to a concern of potential issues with stick potentiometers. Consumers were strongly advised to conduct a test to see if symptoms of these potential issues were present.

After closely monitoring the situation, Horizon has determined that we need to physically inspect all DX6i transmitters with date codes containing 807E, 808E, 809E, 810E, 811E, 812E, and 901E, including those ending in "US", :"UK", or "DE". The date code will be found inside the battery compartment.
Any feedback from your LHS ???
