Project: Stripping Himax 2015

For some at JW... they know my Himax was a goner after a few bad crashes.
The shaft jams.. after rotating about half a round.

Anyway.. unlike the Align motor.. I had a tough time opening the Himax casing

So I resolted in cutting it open with my dermel.

Here are the pics.. (see the lump of copper coil in the motor... Align's coil is much neater...)

The broken magnet repelled each other... so resulting in a gap in the 2 piece at one side. that is why, the motor could turn fine in one direction, but not the other....

could have use it on a push jet.....

Well.. it is a very strong magnet... and it fit my screw drivers very well.. so I am using it to magnitise my screw drivers...
