Binding Rx to 9xII

Hi Guys
Had trouble getting the Rx to bind. Checked the Tx (JR9030II 2.4) )and the green led on the binding switch is not on although the Tx is.

Is that a problem?

Need Help - Binding Tx and Rx

Apologies, I just realised I did not describe the problem properly.

The green led on the binding button at the back of the Tx is not on even though the Tx is on. Does this mean that it is not working?

I have a JR9030 ii 2.4ghz and I'm trying to bind a new Rx.

Keep pressing the button while switching on the TX?

Figured out what was the problem. The Tx failed - only a month old.

Kinda scary to think if it happens mid flight.
