JR DSX9 not able to link aft Rx power reset

I have DSX9 2.4ghz radio and I was using it with spectrum receiver 6200 and RD921. I found out that if I disconnect receiver batt while Tx still on, and power up receiver won't connect, light keep blinking on both main rec and remote rec. To reconnect I have to power off RxTx and back on again on Tx first then Rx. Is this normal?

not normal i think. I don't suffer such symtoms. Better check again. Did you accidentally leave the bind plug in while doing the test? i think you did. Blinking lights means it is in binding mode. No lights means waiting for signal. Lights means locked on.

Thanks for the reply. Nope I didn't have binding plug there, already taken out and funny thing is the stock 921 receiver also did the same thing to me. Just try out this afternoon.

In short, correct way of power up the system would be. Off both. On Tx first, then Rx. Then you'll get solid light. Any blinking after flight indicate if has been power off reset before.
