Effectiveness of Transmitters

Just got my new JR TX for my heli yesterday.

Could i seek your help for the following?

1. What is the effective range for transmission, of the common TX , with the antennae fully extended?

2. What is the healthy number preferred, before you start recharging the TX again? 10 or 9.9?

More than enough, at least 1km.

as what vin has said, but ur rx also need to be full range. some have smaller ranges like 300m
