Futaba 3PM-Fm help

Hi. Just bought a Futaba 3PM-FM transmitter and receiver R153F and changed the servo to digital servo, S9551. Was thinking that I was supposed to change the transmitter mode from PPM to HRS mode but when I do that, my ESC starts beeping. When switched back to PPM mode, car works fine. What can be wrong?

Can mine only operate in PPM mode even though I've bought a digital servo?


I use TT01D on 23T Hot Bodies motor & Futaba 330CR ESC.

If I am not mistaken - R153 is not a HRS receiver. Some esc cannot work with HRS system.

I didn't buy it from Sing Hobby....

Seems like I have to change the receiver to digital one too....Letting go 2 x Futaba 3003 servos & R153F Receiver without crystal. All for $100 SGD.
