Please recomend a TX

Im new to flyin helis and im wondering what is the difference between the 6 channel radios and the 9 channel ones besides the number of channels.
I have been recomended JRP9240 but would like to know more.
I am hoping to have at least 7 channels and keep this radio for a long time.
I might juz start flying planes in the future too.

Please recomend me a good TX too

MOST 9 channel transmitters have more programming features compared to 6 channel ones
