A PPjoy cable for FMS? The schematics are easily available, made with one trip to sim lim and 10 mins soldering.

Adranli... If u do not have serial port, there are multiple ways u can go about:

                1. Use Parallel Port
                2. USB wire is expensive. Go SL Square and buy USB to serial convertor instead. It is normally use by those networking engineers to connect their notebook to the Router or Management switches.
                3. Use sound card.

Method 1 and 3 wire can be easily make. Using Method 1 is the easiest. I'm using it in my Futaba 9CHP on my RealFlight G2. Heck!! I even use it to play "Need For Speed 2" computer game also.

use parallel port(Printer port) to play. Cheap and easy way.

I have the usb to serial convertor. But the damn FMS do not recognise the port!!! Waste my money.

I got my FMS cable from Rotor at S$95 and its sitting at one corner. How to connect it to Parallel Port to make it work??? Dont expect me to cut off the serial port connector.

I don't know if this has been posted before but there is a better alternative than using ppjoy or other method that uses the sound card.

Now you can probably use the simple fms parallel or serial port using windows nt/2000/xp without ppjoy. No need for those expensive pic based fms cables. PPjoy is actually quite buggy when I tried it before.

One thing though, I haven't tested this yet as I have no need for it's use as my intended application for this is entirely different.
