    Gy240/gy401

    Hi ppl,

    need to know different between gy240 and gy401. Beside additional remote gain and rudder trim limited, wat about holding power.. on 450size

    Go straight for 401 thats my advise. I've upgraded from 240 to 401. 401 is easier to adjust for the gain and more accurate because you digitally trim it on your TX, 240 you'll have to manually adjust on your gyro.

      And if you can't accurately trim your 240, logically you'll think the holding power is not good....

        Hi HDB. thanks for your input any ideal how to increase the piro rate for the rudder. Mine i max out the dual rate for the rudder but still very slow

          Since the slider is given max throw on both side,can try increase the end-point-adjustment for the throw.
          Another will be to increase headspeed.
          Another will be to use carbon tail blades.
          There could be other setups to adjust which the seasoned flyers may know.Can drop by FF to ask them?
          Maybe can post what heli and gyro+servo you using?

            Oh.Remember to check if servo is binding after adjusting end-point-adjustment.Use gyro to limit the throw if it has the function,else you can only work with the end-point-adjustment I guess.
            Increase headspeed is cause you may have enough pitch but the blades are not turning fast enough to counter or push the tail.
            Carbon blades are tougher than plastic so under stress they perform better.

              Thanks again HDB I am flying CX450SEV2 (a.k.a.TrexSEV2 ) HS65MG *3 GY240+HS81 . You forgoten me when I was flying my HBFP I bought the TP13202S battery from you at Sengkeng
