How to calculate Amps draws from motor??

I would like to know how to calculate Amps draws from motor. Hope u guys will help me out. Will appreciate ur help, thanks.

There is no straight forward answer for this one !

Usually the manufacturer will supply the max current capacity which the motor can handle, you'll want to stay within this limit so that you won't burn out the motor.

You got to understand that when you increase the load ...i.e: larger prop or lower gear ratios, the amp draw will increase while keeping the voltage and Wattage constant. ...that is why it's important to have a proper setup in order not to overload any components.

So the best way to figure out what your setup i pulling in practice is to invest in a datalogger i.e: Eagletree micropower, etc
You plugged the logger device in between your Battery and esc, go fly and then download the captured data into your PC or LCD display panel or instant viewing.
