Which ESC can work with Align Motor 420LF ?

Hi Guys

Currently running Align 25 Amps with 420LF motor on my Trex. But everytime flying will encounter ESC shutdown. Guess its time to upgrade to a better ESC to run this motor liao. Will want to keep the Motor and just get a better ESC. I tried to run the Mini Titan ESC with 420LF but somehow this pair refuse to work together despite the motor timing on the MT ESC is set to auto-timing. Anyone manage to get a cheap and good ESC to work well with Align Motor(420LF, etc ) ?

I had been using the ESC n motor combo w/o problem when I was on HS55 servos. Once I upgraded to HS65 all rd, the ESC do cut due to thermal. I install a BEC n no problem at all.

Flew it till the day I sold off everything, upsize the heli.


Watz ur other electronics setup???

the MT is heavier... so it needs a bigger esc as the motor will draw more current.

I have 3 Align 35X ESC. All of them the governor works well.
Motor used or used before with that ESC are:
AXi (can't remember the model)
Align 430L (HOT motor. Lousy)
MTM 450TH
United Hobby's 450TH clone

The one on my UH-1M is with MTM450TH motor. This one I have a problem is that, after flying some time, it suddenly drop power for split second and then shoot up to MAX rpm. It happen a few times before. This morning I crash my UH-1M is because of that. I believe it is because that particular ESC is having problem. Maybe is the motor is having problem. The rest of 2 ESC no problem.
