Futaba S3154 Servo failure!

I borrowed from a friend brand new Futaba S3154 servo n had just install it in my T-rex 450SE as rudder with my Futaba GY401 few days back.I tried to test flight this morning.But shet!U know wat happen?The servo get burned up on my 1st flight when i attemp to do flip!
SHET!I cant believe it!How could this happen?I tot it will only have this problem if u r using it on a 6V setting?It cause my heli for a crash but luckily no major things was broken,only landing skid broke!
But the problem is,how could i trust this servo again in the future?It burned up till the whole servo case melt n alot of smoke came out from the servo while my heli was landing!
Here are my setting:-
-T-Rex 450SE
-Align 430L 3550kv motor
-Emax 40A ESC(4.8V)
-Futaba GY401 gyro

I tot there will be no problem for this setting?
It never happened when i was using Hitec HS50 for my tail(NEVER)!
Just wanna ask can i make a complain to Futaba Website regarding this issue?
I felt disappointing n mad about this issue!REALLY MAD!

i saw the review,its design for 450 class heli,but not recommended to used with 6V esc..but im using 4.8V esc,it burnt too

btw i bought this from HK.i don think i can get the claim at my LHS(Malaysia) even if we have distributors for futaba cause was told all electronic parts don come with any warranty.Im not sure how about Singapore?anyway i had already email futabarc n told them about this issue n will c wat they will reply in this few days.

Futabarc only deal wif US customer.

tail got setup properly bo...? mustnt have any binding..

myself and a few guys using with logictech and 401, all no prob leh until crashes occur and it suffered physical damage..

but then again, it could be also due to a faulty part.. do run a measurement on a BEC output first

it's 5V for the emax built in BEC,anyway i had already file a complain to Futaba RC & the shop which i bought the servo from n im waiting for the reply now.

3154 is not designed for tail rotor use, even if it is digital servo, the 401 signal to servo is very quick, better to use it on non DS mode.

If your gain and delay setting for HH if too high for the 3154, it will burn too.

i believe futaba also lists it's 6V specs, so it shouldnt burn up at 5.. if setup correctly

i have been running 3154s on both 401 and lg2100t without any problems at all.. and i believe if it can take the lg2100t in ds mode, it definitely can take the 401 in ds mode as imo the 2100t has higher rates
