bro the optic 6 is enuff for heli... even up to nitro sized helis. upgrade only if u want to go 2.4GHz or planning on flying scale..

the only difference is that the optic 6 is 6 channels and the eclipse 7 is 7ch i chose the eclipse 7 incase i wanted to upgrade to nitro later on in the hobby, but the optic 6 is by far capable of nitro. and i chose the 7ch because it looks better more style haha.

Was using Optic 6 with Trex 450.....its more than I need.

Only issue with it was I started out with 35 Mhz, then I encountered glitch problems. Spent some money and changed module and receivers to 72 Mhz.....works perfectly.

th my eclipse 7 i had glitch problems with 35MHz then changed to 40 and now its fine.

seems 35MHz is prone to glitches.


sometimes it could be wire routing and and how u place the antenna..

For a 4 channel transmitter, 1st Channel 1 is for Aileron, 2nd Channel is for Elevator, 3rd Channel 3, 4th Channel is for the Rudder.

For a 6 channel transmitter, everything is the same as 4 channel tranmitter except a extra Channel is used for the Pitch. So u will have an extra channel to play wif.
