    Dynam 25 amp ESC beeps?

Hi all. when i connect the battery to my dynam 25 amp esc, it wornt stop deeping! varies between two beeps and single beeps. i followed the instructions of reversing the throttle chn on the tx. so with the throttle on min, i plug the battery without moving the stick, the esc will keep giving off beeping sounds. alternating between 5 single beeps and 5 double beeps. only when i move the throttle then the motor starts and beeping stops.

the thing is i dont know what programme will be set onto the esc. can anyone tell me how to "properly" operate this particular esc? thanks. really need instructions on this.

Hi Aero, when your ESc beep several there are several reasons:-

      1) Mostly the ESC is not receiving the signal from the RX due to the connector is plug in the incorrect direction to the RX.
      2) The ESC connector plug/pin is not compatible to the RX. Most ESC are design fit Futaba or JR radios.
Check if any of the signal wires are broken or open.

      3) You plug the ESC to the wrong port of the RX . Make sure ESC cable plug to the port for "Throttle".

      4) Use wrong crystal freq or wrong modulation PCM instead of FM or vice versa because of new setup...This happen to me before. The ESc was beeping like crazy and then found use wrong crystal! . Other time set to wrong modulation was using FM receiver instead of PCM receiver.
5)If nothing work like I say before bring it to the flying field to be check by other more experience flier.

      6) If nothing still works then very sorry ....may have to get a new ESC.

      All the best.

oh hahah not so serious case i think.. its just that i dont quite get what the esc wants. after i plug the batt in with throttle on close, i hear one beep. if i dont touch anything, the esc will give 5 single and then 5 double and then 5 single so on and so for.. IF i throttle up after tha very first initial beep, the motor will run and the beeps wornt start. i'm not firmiliar with that. my gws 15 amp bl esc will just beep just three times and that will tell me its ready to start. not firmiliar with the dynam even after reading the manual.. it doesnt tell me what the brake and the hard/soft timings are for.

Do you have this manual? It seems quite understandable.

Your throttle seems to be reversed where low stick is to change the settings. It should be at high stick to change the settings. That's why you hear the single beeps and double beeps awaiting for your inputs at low stick.

yea that makes sense now. it stops at just five single beeps now. thanks! i now wonder how drastic is the break on effect..
