Receiver antenna wire

Hi guys,

I have accidentally broken off the antenna wire of my hitec electron 6 reciever.
The wire is supposed to go onto point 1, but my doubt is that is there a soldering connection between point 1 and point 2? Please refer to picture. Thank you.

hi,

sometimes seeing is decieving, so best is to use a mutlimeter to test for connectivity between the 2 points.

if you have another E6, maybe you can open that one up for reference...

I only have one such reciever which I use for my t-rex. I should taken a closer look before I place my iron down...

i opened mine n did a check with multimeter. There is no connection between pt 1 and 2.

Now I have to look for the solder 'sucker' to remove the link between point 1 and 2.
